We were hoping for a long bloom season this year, as there were so many scapes still on the plants after Daylily Days. Unfortunately, the deer thought otherwise~this year they had a feast in the field, leaving very little left to bloom :-(
We will sell plants through the Labor Day weekend. If you're interested, take a look at the photos posted earlier (Under Blog Archive, photos A-H and I-P are under March, and R-Z, April). You can call or email with an order, and we will arrange for pick up/delivery or ship to you.
It's been a frustrating year with the deer - the worst we've ever seen in our 8 years of selling. We're hoping to find ways to lessen the damage for next season, and we appreciate all of your suggestions.
In spite of the deer, we've had a great season and we have you as customers to thank. It is always fun to share the beauty of daylilies with others. Thank you so much!
Enjoy the rest of summer and the last of the daylily blooms!
