What a wonderful thought for the beginning of the cold & darkness of winter.  Within all of us is the bright light and warmth of summer......no matter the season.

A big thank you to all who visited the farm this past summer - new & repeat customers, family and friends. Thanks, as well,  to all who helped out with various duties, including the most favorite task - weeding.

I wish you all a Happy Solstice, a Merry Christmas and look forward to the 2014 Daylily Season. In the meantime, bask in the warmth of your own invincible summer, and dream of daylilies.

Daylilies are still blooming in the field - they think it's July!   The farm will be open by appointment through Labor Day, September 2nd.   Shipping is also available through Labor Day.   The plant list, and photos are available on the website (Click on Plant List, scroll down & click the link: photos are under July Archives).   Enjoy the rest of summer - call for a time to visit if you'd like.

Open House this Sunday

It looks like great weather for the last Open House this Sunday!   We will be open from 8:00-4:00.  There are many plants in bloom right now, along with a few still waiting to open.   Hope you can join us!

The farm will be open by appointment through Labor Day, September 2.  You can also place an order for delivery or shipment between now & then.   The Plant list, along with many photos of those for sale are on this site.

More Open House dates!

There are 2 additional Open House dates coming up, thanks to the late bloom season this year. We will be open Sunday, August 11th and Sunday, August 18th from 8:00-4:00.  We'd love to have you join us to see these beautiful plants at their peak.  If you have questions or need help with directions, please call or text 218-522-0284.

If you are not able to make it, you can still purchase plants for shipping or delivery (Duluth/Superior area) until September 1.

If you missed the Flower Pounding demonstration, Judi Carlson will be at the Glensheen Festival of Fine Art this weekend - Saturday & Sunday, August 10th & 11th, 9-5. Admission is Free!

Open House Weekend #3

Hopefully, the third time is a charm.  The weather is predicted to be much better than last weekend and many more plants have begun to open.  We'll be open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday & Sunday, and would love to have you visit.

Because peak season is a bit later than usual this year, we'll also be open for 2 additional Sundays, August 11th and August 18th, again from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

If you are not able to visit, you can place an order to be shipped.  Delivery is also available in the Duluth area.  Photos of many of the plants available are on the website. You can view plant descriptions and download an order form by clicking on the Plant List tab.

Open House Weekends!

Daylily Open House this weekend - Saturday & Sunday, July 20/21 from 8:00 - 4:00..   Bloom season is a bit late this year, so there will be opportunities to see some of the earlier blooming plants on the first couple of weekends, as well as the Flower Pounding demonstration by Judi Carlson.

If you are not able to make it for any of the weekends, mail order is also available, as well as delivery in the Duluth/Superior area.   There are photos of many of the plants that are for sale this season on the site - click on the Blog Archive on the right.

Open House will also be held Saturday & Sunday, July 27-28 and August 3-4.
